Make yourself at home. Take off your shoes, snuggle up on the couch, tuck away that to-do list. Stay, chat and laugh with me for a while, won’t you?

Once upon a time there was a girl who liked a boy.  She thought he was just lovely.
Slowly, slowly, slowly, the girl wore the boy down, and eventually, they got married.

After twenty years, six houses, four sons, two dogs, and enough laughter and tears to keep things interesting, we've built our lives together on a small farm(ette) in Maryland.

Blissful, right?  Mostly.  But here's the thing. 

This Midwestern girl, surrounded by all of these Maryland men, finds herself in a position of watching A LOT of lacrosse, a sport which completely boggles the mind. Stormtroopers running around, hitting each other with sticks.  How can I possibly begin to understand THAT?

Alas.
